When the Seattle Supersonics moved from Seattle to Oklahoma City before the 2008-2009 season, an opportunity presented itself to rename and rebrand the franchise. This was partly a self-initiated project and partly a marketing assignment from a friend who knew people working with the new ownership.

Unfortunately, the team became the Oklahoma City Thunder and my comps were never presented.

I even went so far as to come up with a fictitious vintage identity and a faux history for the franchise in Oklahoma City. Sorry, Seattle.
